SEASON CLOSED FOR 2023
CHECK BACK IN 2024
These classes are the only opportunity in 2023 to visit goats during Kidding Season. Children must be at least eight years old and must be accompanied by a paying adult. The demand for our products does not allow time for visitors to the farm frequently. These classes are set to coincide with our feeding and milking time.
For the first 15 minutes of each class, guests learn about the care we provide the goats and learn by watching our milking procedures. The next 45 minutes are dedicated to feeding babies who have transitioned to bottles, with plenty of time for selfies and photos. We love educating the public, dispelling myths, and helping our guests have a fun time.
Classes are held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from 5 to 6 pm on all the above-listed dates. Visits are not available on any other days of the week. Private classes are also not available. Please be certain of your date before registering. If you wish to change your date or time, we cannot guarantee that another option will be available as we fill very quickly.
Dates in May or June may be added at a later time.
Classes are $30 per adult and $15 per child. Children must be at least eight years old and must be accompanied by a paying adult. There are seven spots available per class.
Classes are held rain or shine, and most take place in the late winter/early spring, which means it could be cold on your chosen date. This is a farm experience. Please dress to stay warm in a barn environment. The farm address is 2710 Spring Hill Road, Goshen, OH 45122.
DO NOT GO TO THE OWENSVILLE, OH STORE FOR THIS EVENT.
Goat care is an everyday responsibility, and classes will not be canceled due to cold, except in the event of a snowstorm, which would make travel hazardous for our guests.
You will receive an email confirmation of your registration. We are not responsible for missed emails, emails ending up in a spam or junk folders, or forgotten reservations.
Classes are small to provide the best experience and safety for all guests. Masks are not required but may be worn by anyone who wishes to. An animal-safe, anti-bacterial sanitizer spray will be provided for use before participants touch any animal.
