Goat Sales & Reservation Policy
We’ve raised Nigerian Dwarf Goats since 2012. While some breeders focus heavily on pedigree, we take a broader approach. At Honey Sweetie Acres, we breed goats that meet the Nigerian Dwarf breed standard—with correct height, strong structure, and excellent milking ability. We personally evaluate each goat to ensure long-term health and productivity.
Pedigree matters, but it’s not our top priority. Instead, we pair goats based on physical strength and proven milking genetics. Our mission is simple: breed outstanding milk producers.
Because we also run a full-time goat milk soap business, we don’t attend as many shows as some farms. Even so, we still participate in regional competitions and occasionally show at the ADGA National Dairy Goat Show when it’s within a reasonable distance.
Every fall, we update our kidding schedule with confirmed doe and sire pairings. Want to see photos of the kids? Just ask—we’re always happy to share!

🐐 Goat Kidding Reservations
We welcome you to join our kid reservation list—no fee required! Use our goat kidding schedule to help guide your selection. Once your chosen kid is born, we ask for a 50% deposit to hold your reservation.
Changed your mind? No problem. Your deposit is 100% refundable, and we’ll simply move to the next person in line.
📅 Pickup & Boarding
Kids must be picked up on the agreed date. A boarding fee of $5.00 per day per animal applies to late pickups.
Adult goats can be held for up to 15 days. After 30 days, a $5.00 daily boarding fee will apply.
We work with trusted nationwide transporters and ensure every animal is prepared for safe travel.
The timing of a kid’s release is dependent upon it’s health & maturity, but also the experience of the buyer.
For airline transport, we strictly follow all airline guidelines regarding age and seasonal temperature restrictions.
✅ Herd Health & Testing
We’re dedicated to maintaining a healthy, thriving herd. Here’s how we ensure top-tier care:
CAE testing is done twice a year.
As of Spring 2025, our entire herd is CAE, CL, and Johne’s negative.
Fall 2025 CAE results will be posted before the updated goat kidding schedule goes live.
All milking does tested Brucellosis- and TB-free in 2024.
All kids are on a Coccidia prevention program.
We follow a strict sanitation routine to promote both herd health and milk safety.
🔒 Our Guarantee
In the rare event that a goat shows signs of a genetic defect, we’ve got you covered. With proof, we will either refund your purchase or offer a replacement. While it’s uncommon, we stand behind every animal we breed—your satisfaction means everything to us.
We do our best to meet your expectations, but we can’t guarantee that a specific doe will conceive or produce a kid of your preferred gender. If your reserved doe doesn’t produce the sex you were hoping for, you may switch your reservation to another doe—if one is available. However, we can’t promise that there will be space in another reservation. To stay updated, check our Sales Page regularly throughout the season for any new animals that become available.
We also can’t promise that every kid will grow into a champion. Even when both parents hold champion titles, their kids may not follow the same path. Once a kid leaves our farm, the new owner plays a key role in helping them reach their full potential. Success takes time, effort, and consistent care. We’re always happy to answer questions and offer guidance as you grow your herd. Nothing makes us happier than seeing our kids win in the show ring—and celebrating your success right along with you!
Before you purchase an animal, take time to review the information on our website. It offers helpful details that can support you as you build your herd. And if you ever have questions, reach out anytime through our Contact Us page—we’re here to help.
The 2026 Goat Kidding Schedule and Sales Page will be updated for next year during the Fall of 2025.
