The primary goal of today’s blog is to update our customers, especially those who have been routine visitors at local farmer’s markets in the Cincinnati area.

We have been extremely blessed in the last few years with the growth of our business, the exponential increase in return customers and meeting new friends and fans of goats and goat milk soap.  As with any venture, getting out in front of customers is a necessity early in the game.  Farmer’s markets are often the first entry point for most agricultural based small business and it was no different with us.  Finding customers who seek healthier alternatives in food, is the best place to start.

Our philosophy has been that we need to feed our skin as well as our bodies. The Mediterranean culture originated the phrase “What you consume, you should apply” and these words have been part of our motivation and are directly in sync with our business mission.

We’ve introduced thousands of people to the benefits of goat milk soap and chemically free skin-care and the resulting increase in sales is taking more and more of our time.  So much so, that packing up, selling at markets, and reloading for the drive back to the farm is depriving us of valuable production time and business development.

Farmer’s markets typically run from May through the end of October.  As a heads up to our customer, we will no longer be participating in the Madeira Farmer’s Market or the Loveland Farmer’s Market as of August 1, 2015.  We are giving free shipping codes for on-line orders to our faithful customers who have frequented these markets.  With the right market code, free shipping is available for farmer’s market patrons through the end of October 2015.  This is our way of saying THANK YOU to both Madeira and Loveland patrons.

We will continue to service Blue Ash Farmer’s Market twice a month and Deerfield Farmer’s Market once a month for the remainder of the 2015 season.
