Meet our Baby Goats on our Ohio Farm
Bonding With Goat Babies
Registration for Bonding with Babies Opens February 1st!
These classes are the only opportunity in 2022 to visit goats during Kidding Season.
We offer this opportunity for guests to learn about the care of momma & baby goats, watch our milking procedures and help feed babies who have transitioned to bottles. We love educating the public, dispelling myths, and helping our guests have a fun time.
Classes are held on Friday evenings from 5 to 6 pm, Saturday evenings from 5 to 6 pm and Sunday evenings from 5 to 6 pm. The last session will be May 15th. Visits are not available on any other days of the week. Private classes are also not available. Please be certain of your date before registering. The $5.00 registration fee will HOLD your selected date/time.
Classes are $30 per attendee (child or adult). Children must be at least six years old to attend and must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The remaining $25 is paid in person upon your arrival at the farm. Cash, check, or Venmo is accepted. (No credit cards, please). Classes are held rain or shine, and most take place in the late winter/early spring, which means it could be cold on your chosen date. This is a farm experience. Please dress to stay warm in a barn environment. The farm address is 2710 Spring Hill Road, Goshen, OH 45122.
Goat care is an everyday responsibility, and classes will not be canceled due to cold, except in the event of a snowstorm, which would make travel hazardous for our guests.
Again, please be certain of your dates before registering. Classes are held Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings only. The $5.00 registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. These classes fill quickly and are extremely popular. Unfortunately, rescheduling is not possible.
You will receive an email confirmation of your registration. We are not responsible for missed emails, emails ending up in a spam or junk folders, or forgotten dates.
Classes are small to provide the best experience and safety for all guests. Masks are not required but may be worn by anyone who wishes to. An animal-safe, anti-bacterial sanitizer spray will be provided for use before and after participants touch any animal.
