November is the month when our thoughts turn to Veterans Day.  We also thing about all those in the military who have pledged to serve and protect our nation.  Our family has a long history of military service.  Uncles in the Army during the early years of WWII, to my Father who served in the Merchant Marines in 1942 – 1944 and was part of the Murmansk Runs.  My brother was in the Navy during the 1960’s and now my oldest son currently serving in the Air Force and making it a career.

We are so proud of our family affiliation with the military and understand the unique perspective of military families and the unique challenges they face in daily life.  Military discounts have always been given at local events and festivals.  We finally found a way to integrate the discount into our website to make savings available to personnel worldwide.  We’ve selected a software program that verifies military affiliation whether it be active, retired, or reservist and integrated it into the website.
